All AICUP members are invited to this meeting on Jan. 30, 2015, jointly hosted by AICUP and the Three Rivers Optical Exchange (3ROX). In the morning, current West WAN members and 3ROX will discuss existing service and plans for future upgrades. At noon, other AICUP members may join to learn how partnering with 3ROX and Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) can improve their network connectivity and data storage capabilities.
The meeting will be held at the PSC, located at 300 South Craig Street, Pittsburgh, PA. The tentative agenda is as follows:
- 9:30 am -11:30 am – Meeting of the AICUP West WAN Members who are current 3ROX subscribers.
- 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm – Lunch meeting with all AICUP schools to describe the network connectivity and data storage services offered by 3ROX/PSC. All are welcome to join the afternoon session.
